The Leave-Behind

The event closer that too often gets forgotten

A "Leave-Behind" is any kind of summary of a live presentation. Its purpose is to extend the original message to those who did not attend the live presentation.

Here's what gets forgotten:

  1. The extra audience is often just as important as the actual one
  2. They  need to understand the key messages just as clearly

But this isn't going to happen if you just distribute a slide file.  Or a text file without the visuals.  Or an audio-only recording.

If it took a visual medium -- the PowerPoint -- to help the live audience get the message(s), this is going to be just as key for the extended audience.

Print Leave-Behind
We'll prepare a transcript document in Word or PDF that includes the key visuals in position for perfect clarity.  This can mean recreating complex or "build" visuals in a simpler form

Online Leave-Behind
We'll create a file that takes advantage of the online medium as necessary ( e.g. audio/video clips, animated visuals).  We'll also create a downloadable file in PDF.

Yes, it costs more than just putting up the slide file on your website.  But you'll get a lot more out of it.
